As we embark on an exciting phase of expansion, particularly within Vietnam and the broader SEA region, we are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Digital Marketing Specialist to spearhead our promotional efforts. Our vision is to establish STOVE as the preferred platform for gamers in Southeast Asia, rivaling the popularity of other platforms.
- JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be instrumental in driving STOVE‘s growth and brand recognition across Southeast Asia, with an initial focus on the Vietnamese market. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies to attract both gamers and game developers to the STOVE platform. Your primary objective will be to build a strong online presence, cultivate thriving communities, and establish STOVE as the go-to platform for game distribution and engagement in the region. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and a deep understanding of the Southeast Asian gaming landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Digital Strategy & Execution: Create and implement online marketing plans for SEA markets.
- Social Media & Community: Manage social media campaigns (Facebook, Zalo, Youtube, etc.), build game developer communities (Facebook, Reddit, Discord), and engage in online forums/events.
- Email Marketing: Design and execute email campaigns to attract game developers.
- Content Creation: Develop marketing materials in English and local languages.
- Event Participation: Represent STOVE at SEA game industry events (AWS, Microsoft events, GameVerse Vietnam, Thailand Game Show, etc.). Manage event presence and networking.
- Partnership Development: Pursue partnerships with agencies and game communities in SEA.
- Platform Promotion: Communicate STOVE‘s benefits to SEA game companies (free fees, market entry support, access to Korea/Japan/Taiwan markets).
- Multilingual Support: Support platform localization and Korean subtitle implementation.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and optimize campaign performance.
Qualifications
Must have
- 7+ Years Digital Marketing Experience: Proven success in online campaign development and execution.
- Game Industry Experience: Experience in marketing for game distribution platforms or related industries (non-gamling sector).
- Southeast Asia Market Knowledge: Experience marketing to SEA audiences, Vietnam expertise preferred.
- Social Media Expertise: Proficiency across key SEA social media platforms.
- Community Building & Engagement: Experience in online community management.
- Email Marketing & Event Marketing: Proven skills in both areas.
- English Communication: Written and verbal fluency.
- Analytical & Proactive: Data-driven, self-motivated, and adaptable.
